Junior Men's Trap competition on Friday-Sunday 25.-27.7.2014

Italian Luca Miotto won the junior men's trap competition. He shot the best result in the qualifying 118 together with Maltese James Galea. In the semifinal Miotto shot the best result 14 targets and went to gold medal match together with German Luca Faulstich who shot 11 targets. Slovakian Michal Slamka and German Till Justus Hille shot 10 targets in the semifinal and went to bronze medal match. Slovakian Adrian Drobny was fifth with 9 targets and Maltese James Galea sixth with 7 hits. Gold medal match ended 13-8 to Italian Miotto and bronze medal match 11-10 for Slovakian Michal Slamka. Other Slovakian Adrian Drobny was fifth with 9 targets and Maltese James Galea sixth with 7 targets.

Italian Luca Miotto was the only shooter in junior men's trap competition who had already confirmed his cup final place in the aerlier competition (Suhl, Germany). As he also qualified to our competition final the same shooter were in the cup final as in the competition final. Slovakian Michal Slamka had the best result in the semifinal with 14 hits and German Luca Faulstich second best with 13 hits. In the gold medal match Faulstich was better by 13-10. Italian Luca Miotto shot 12 targets in the semifinal and Maltese James Galea 11. They were in the bronze medal match which Miotto won by 9-5. Till Justus Hille was fifth with 10 and Slovakian Adrian Drobny sixth with 9.

Junior men's trap team competition had nine teams. Slovakia won the team competition with the result of 336. Shooters in Slovakian team were Michal Slamka, Matus Dudo and Filip Marinov. Both second and third place went to German's team sonce team 2 was second with the result of 330. Shooters in the team were Till Justus Hille, Eugene Schwarz and Stefan Veit. Team Germany 1 was Luca Faulstich, Phillip Hermes and Phillip Seidel and their result was also 330.

Junior Men's Skeet competition on Friday-Sunday 25.-27.7.2014

Finnish Juho Auvinen won the junior men's skeet competition. He also shot a new national record in the qualifying with 119 targets. Italian Domenico Simeone shot the best qualifying result 121 targets. Auvinen, Simeone and Russian Alexey Belov all shot 14 targets in the semifinal and they had a shoot off from which two best qualified to gold medal match and third to bronze medal match. Auvinen shot 6, Belov 5 and Simeone 4. Auvinen won the gold medal match with a perfect score of 16, Belov's result was 12. Simeone competed for bronze with Finnish Eetu Kallioinen (semifinal 13). Simeone won by 15-13. Cyprian Nicolas Vasiliou was fifth with 12 and German Tilo Fritze sixth with also 12.

Italian Simeone Domenico was the only shooter in junior men competition who already had confirmed cup final place in previous competitions (Suhl, Germany). He was also in the final in our competition so same shooters shot the cup final as the competition final. Simeone Domenico won the cup final after he shot 15 in the semifinal. He also shot 15 in the gold medal match against Cypriot Nicolas Vasilou who shot 14 both in semifinal and medal match. Russian Alexey Belov (semifinal 11) and German Tilo Fritze (semifinal 13) were in the bronze medal match and Russian Belov won by 14-11. Finnish Eetu Kallioinen was fifth with 10 hits and Juho Auvinen sixth with 9 hits in the semifinal.

Junior men's skeet team competition had six teams. Russia won the team competition with the result of 345. Shooters in Russian team were Alexey Belov, Yuriy Karpenko and Maksim Filimontsev. Both second and third place went to hometeams as Finland team 1 was second with the result of 340. Shooters in the team were Juho Auvinen, Eetu Kallioinen and Henri Sorvo. Team Finland 2 was Sami Aaltonen, Janne Vallioniemi and Timi Vallioniemi and their result was 337.

Junior Women's Trap competition on Friday-Saturday 25.-26.7.2014

Italian Alessia Iezzi won the junior women's trap competition. She shot the best result in the qualifying with 71 targets. She also shot the best result in the semifinal with 13 hits. Second best in the semifinal was Iuliian Saveleva from Russia. Gold medal match ended 11-10 for Iezzi. In the bronze medal match Zoya Khoklova from Russia won Hanna Ojala from Finland 9-7. Hanna had already shot a shoot off for semifinal place 1-0 against Yulia Tugolukova from Russia. Zoya had a shoot off for bronze medal match against teammate Alina Chemchugova and Zoya won it 1-0.

Italian Alessia Iezzi also won the junior women cup final. She had already confirmed her cup final place in Porpetto as well had Ekaterina Subbotina (RUS) from Suhl. Alessia shot 13 targets in the semifinal. Ekaterina shot 11 targets and had a shoot off with teammate Alina Chemchugova for gold medal match which Ekaterina won 1-0. Alessia won Ekaterina 12-11 in the medal match. Alina and Hanna Ojala were in the bronze medal match and Hanna won it 8-7. In the semifinal Hanna hit 10 targets.

Russia and India had teams in the junior women's trap competition. Russia won the team competition with the result of 182. Shooters in the Russian team were Ekaterina Subbotina, Iuliia Saveleva and Yulia Tugolukova. Indian team shot 155 targets and the shooters were Mahima Kumar Mahajan, Anam Basit and Malikaa Wig.

Junior Women's Skeet competition on Friday-Saturday 25.-26.7.2014

Russia dominated also junior women's skeet competition by winning competition, team competition and cup final. In the competition qualifying Italian Chiara Di Marziantonio shot best result with 69 targets. Finnish Heidi Hämäläinen shot a new national record with 67 targets. Victoria Ostapets from Russia won the semifinal by hitting all 16 targets, finnish Heidi Hämäläinen hit 15 targets and went to gold medal match with russian. Both hit 11 targets in the medal match, shoot off ended 2-1 for russian Ostapets. Russian Anastasiia Godovanets was third by shooting 11 in semifinal and 14 in bronze medal match again italian's Chiara Di Marziantonio 10.

Niina Aaltonen (FIN) and Maheswari Chauhan (IND) had received places for cup final in the previous competition, both in Porpetto, Italy. They did not qualified to semifinal in our competition so four best shooters qualified in to cup final from our competition. Russian Anastasiia Godovanets won the cup final after shooting 12 in the semifinal and 13 in the gold medal match against teammate Victoria Ostapets who shot 14 in the semifinal and 11 in the medal match. In the bronze medal match finnish Niina Aaltonen (semi 11) and italian Chiara Di Marziantonio (semi 11) went all the way into a shoot off after they both hit 11 targets in the medal match. Finally Aaltonen won the shoot off by 9-8.

In the junior women skeet competition only Russia had enough shooters for team competition. They won the team competition with a result 197. Shooters were Victoria Ostapets, Anastasiia Godovanetc and Alina Fazylzyanova.

Junior Men's Double trap competition on Wednesday 23.7.2014

Russia dominated the junior men's double trap competition on Wednesday 23.7.2014 by winning competition, team competition and cup final. Anton Slepushkin (RUS) won the competition. He shot 130 targets in the competition and then had the second best result, 27 targets, in the semifinal. In the gold medal match he won teammeat Danil Zimarev 26-23. Danil shot the best result in the competition 136 targets together with teammeat Kirill Fokeev. Danil also shot the best result 28 targets in the semifinal. Kirill Fokeev and Italian Andrea Vescovi made it to the bronze medal match and Kirill won the medal match after shoot off 4-3 because they both shot 28 targets in the medal match. Two other finalists were James Dedman (GBR) and Juuso Ikävalko (FIN).

In the cup final Russian Kirill Fokeev was the only shooter in our competition who had confirmed cup final place already in the previous competitions (Suhl, Germany). Kirill also was in final in our competition so that is why same six shooters wered in the cup final as in competition final. Russian Anton Slepushkin won the cup final after shooting 29 targets in the semifinal and 28 targets in gold medal match against teammate Kirill Fokeev who shot 26 targets in the semifinal and 25 targets in medal match. In the bronze medal match James Dedman from Great-Britain won finnish Juuso Ikävalko 26-23 after both shot 23 targets in the semifinal.

In the team competition three countries had enough shooters to enter the team competition. Russia (with Kirill Fokeev, Anton Slepushkin and Alexey Ilin) won the team competition with 384 targets. India (with Jaisal Singh, Priyansu and Ahvar Rizvi) was second with 351 targets. Bronze medal went to home team, Finland, (with Juuso Ikävalko, Miki Ylönen and Niko Kopra) with 329 targets.

This year our competition is also the Cup final (Suhl-Porpetto-Orimattila).
